Glenn,

Do you live here in Baton Rouge?  If so, I'll offer to meet up with  
you somewhere in town and give you a hand.   I have a couple of  
external hard disks and can possibly help you recover/backup your data.

I'm a Mac switcher and really would like to help you out.
