[Brmug-l] Leopard acting up

Merry Christmas (well, except you're having problems):

Assuming you're not sending this email from there? (how are you  
sending this email?)

Initially sounded(s?) to me like domain name lookup problem. I.e.  
Internet domain name lookups may not be working from your ISP. I don't  
know what you have so i don't know how you're getting your DNS info.  
Generally it'll be DHCP and letting the server provide it to your  
machine/cable/dsl/etc. router... In that case, it may not be 10.5.1,  
except for i'm puzzled on the permissions repair issue if that's the  
case. Particularly if everything else seems ok.

Everything you mentioned (except permissions) is network related and  
the key word was 'can't find' that i'm homing in on. Anyone else have  
another idea? If that's the case, nothing is corrupted on your  
machine...

When you say it won't repair permissions - what's the error? That's  
the one thing that's throwing me for a loop in your description.
