- benefits/drawbacks of various languages
- do we need to know multiple languages?

- ICPC 2012 North American Qualification Contest
- Think of this as a practice contest
- Teams from all over North America will compete, scoring will be by region
- Contest is Sep 29 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (we have a home game, so you will have to find somewhere [off campus] to compete from with Internet)
- Great time to get used to the regional image
- Teams must be registered by Sep 21
- no prevention of Internet access - but should be competed as if you are in real contest (1 computer, no use made of internet, 3 people)
- would be useful if you can print wherever you compete
- web used for upload of submissions, clarifications, scoreboard (maybe to access localdoc)
- approaches to competing
